The Blood
The blood of Jesus is central to Christianity, representing far more than a strange religious symbol. Like the crimson worm that climbs a tree, sacrifices itself, and provides life-giving sustenance to its offspring, Jesus voluntarily gave His life on the cross to provide us with eternal redemption. His blood doesn’t just offer temporary forgiveness but permanent transformation—cleansing us completely and changing us from the inside out. Unlike animal sacrifices that provided only outward cleansing, Christ’s blood makes us ‘white as snow’ and enables us to live differently. This salvation requires full surrender, not just wanting something from Jesus but giving Him our lives completely.
