Tyler serves as the Worship and Media Pastor at McConnell Memorial Baptist Church, where he has been on staff since 2024. He leads worship for the church's contemporary service and oversees worship, media, production, communications, and creative ministries. With a passion for creating environments where people can encounter God, Tyler combines musical leadership, creative communication, and technology to help advance the mission of the local church.
Tyler has served in worship ministry since the age of 15, faithfully leading and serving as both a volunteer and worship leader in various ministry settings. His heart for worship is rooted in a desire to see people experience the presence of God and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
In addition to his ministry experience, Tyler earned certificates in Music Production and Music Business from Berklee College of Music. His background in music, media, songwriting, and creative leadership enables him to equip teams and develop ministries that effectively communicate the Gospel in today's culture.
Tyler is passionate about worship, discipleship, revival, and mentoring the next generation of worship leaders and creatives. He and his wife, Michayla, are blessed with three children Kinsley, Aiden, and Aria. Together, they are committed to serving the Lord, investing in their church community, and raising their family to love and follow Christ.
Whether leading worship, writing songs, developing creative strategies, or equipping volunteers, Tyler's mission remains the same: to glorify God and help others encounter Him through authentic worship and the truth of His Word.
